Expensive but safe

We bought with 89,000 miles at an auction for$8,000 in 2012. To date we mostly have invested $4,000 in regular maintenance. It is a FWD so no spider gear issues. To date it has 275,000 miles and runs well. My wife has an antique shop and we pull a trailer of items from auctions. This is are fifth used Volvo with ending mileage ranging from 200,000 to 453,000. However we would never buy a unit built after 2012. - 5.0

I am content and grateful for my stylish 2008 Volvo XC90 V8 with 220,000.00 is paid in full with minor maintenance issues. - 5.0
150k Miles and Still Going

This has been a great car for us. The only major things I’ve had to do was replace a catalytic converter and the shocks. I had an O2 sensor go bad and replace that. It doesn’t use a little bit of oil but at 250K what do you expect?
