Fun to drive
by a0242bf6 on 5/2/2023 9:26:22 PM
As a 20 year old car, I doubt there is a lot of demand for my Jaguar. But, the fact that I've owned it for all but 1 year of that time, I've enjoyed owning it. The car is reasonably classy, fun to drive and with 4 wheel drive I could make it up the hill to my house in the snow, when my neighbors could not. Reasonably reliable, I have not had to replace or repair any major part in its 72,000 plus miles. I would probably keep it, except my wife is being a new car and we don't need two cars. - 4.0
Super versatile value for money all season car!

Very under rated car. I bought this as a winter beater but have been very pleasantly suprised. As a utility- it’s a real drivers car. Steering has good feel and feedback, very sure footed in the snow. I’m an engineer that was involved in the Powertrain design in my 20s, i was lukewarm towards the car back then but it’s grown on me a lot now. With the sport suspension, 3.0 and a manual- it’s pretty fast. 25 mpg highway real world, I wish the mpg was better. Engine needs to be revved to really go, nice sounding motor. Gear shift change is only mediocre. Lovely looks, way better than the equivalent bmw or Lexus. - 5.0
Love This Car
by SpeedwayMike on 6/1/2021 6:00:49 PM
I purchased this BRG X Type as a temporary driver last October, (2020) She had been in a probate dispute and had been sitting for nearly three years. A one owner with 96,000 miles. Put in a battery, replaced alternator, recharged A/C, new Coils, plugs, and Mobil One. I Love this Car! Great handling, very sure footed, shifts great, lots of power with the 3.0. Sadly no resale value much over 4 or 5 thousand, but what a lot of luxury car for the money. I have owned a few XJ's in past, but this is a far superior driver. Can't beat it for Value for the $$.
