      Comfortable and Practical

by Christie on Tuesday, November 26, 2024

This is my second CRV and I could not love it more. I love the hybrid version, it gets phenomenal gas mileage, and is very comfortable, even for long road trips. I am a Honda driver for life, with this being my third Honda purchase.

Nice to drive - Not the best value

by Mr KG on Tuesday, September 02, 2025

I have driven my Sport-L for two years and 27k miles. The best part about this car is its drivetrain compared to others in its class. The 2L engine is never loud and the car smoothly transitions in and out of electric-only mode. The e-CVT is responsive to throttle and is relatively quick to accelerate when you need the power. The safety features are not intrusive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane-centering features work nicely, even in traffic. The emergency braking system works well and can be adjusted. Another pro is that it's super spacious. It fits huge Costco runs and the back seats have great legroom. The front seats could be more comfortable, though. I find the aggressive bolstering digs into my thighs. I'm not even a big guy and it's still noticeable on long trips. This type of bolstering is better suited for a sporty car, rather than a family hauler. The interior is inoffensive and practical. The buttons and dials are accesible and easy to use. The auto-dimming rearview mirror is a life saver. The AC works well but sometimes you have to lower it a couple of degrees because it leans towards efficiency. Glitches with the infotainment have been due to issues with Android Auto, rather than the Honda software. However, the new CR-V is not a good value. Almost $40k for a FWD car with no heated steering wheel, no cooled seats, a basic audio system, no HUD, no satellite navigation, a manual passenger seat with no height adjustment, no spare tire, no wiper fluid sensor, no tire pressure monitor, and no back seat release in the trunk was hard to swallow. The Sport Touring was too expensive and came with things that we really didn't want like AWD and 19 inch wheels. I wish Honda would offer more options on the mid-level trims and not force you into the Touring to get features that most competitors include. I still like it!

      Not As Advertised

      by LR1999 on Tuesday, October 28, 2025

The interior is nice and space is excellent. The back-up camera quality is poor. The hybrid engine is slow and loud. It takes a long time to warm up before it becomes a smooth drive. The transition between EV and gas engine sometimes gets stuck and won't accelerate normally. The engine was so slow at one point that I had to turn on the hazard lights while driving. The dealership's service evaluation was that it was "driving as designed." No thank you Honda...trading it in for a Toyota.
